It is really such a nice story that deserves reading; yet my take evolves around the idea of feminizing “Love.” Critically speaking, the story could be taken as a proof of that kind of gender clishes usually emanate from the idea of either masculinizing or feminizing human feelings; a point that is not of substantial effect if we try to gauge the noble and supreme idea this story attempts to emblematize. Critics rely greatly on those rather seemingly unsophisticated knots (e.g. feminizing love in your story) to fabricate their partial considerations of those clishes rather than approaching the whole story as a full discourse devoted to infuse a human or moral idea that seems genderless and cross-gendered at the same time (e.g. love). To put it more simply, love couldn’t be limitized to one gender (females in this story, love=she) as both genders could have it. likewise, love could be genderless if we look at it as an involuntary human trait that could be experienced through the interference of mytaphysical powers that infuse it into human beings
The discourse of the story seems to favor the idea of gendering love, then it completely spins the whole process by poking those paramount mytaphysical powers in a rather inappropriate way if it comes to the factor of involuntariness that is intermediating the relationship between humans as examples of the gendering process and the mytaphysical powers as examples of genderlessness..
