Though I wouldn’t give much important to the fork and knife kind of manners, I feel it is important that we teach our children to be sensitive to the needs and emotions of others. For instance, a mother teaching her son to be indifferent to a woman just because she is a waitress is downright rude and will, in the long run, create an attitude problem for her child. Being polite and courteous has a lot of advantages and can even make a person’s day.
